The Chamber is overseen by a small group of dedicated volunteers, all with a personal interest in Whitley Bay and what the Chamber is here for. Some of us have business here, some of us work here, and all of us just love the place and are passionate about supporting our wonderful members and raising the profile of our special town.
We are looking for more people to join our team and help us shape the future of the Chamber and maybe even manage some of our great events and initiatives we have planned for the year.
Being a Committee member is a voluntary role so no payment is available. You should be able to dedicate a few hours every month to Chamber 'work' and this includes attending our regular Committee meetings as well as our member get togethers. You might be interested in representing the Chamber at local events or external meetings, you may have some ideas on initiatives we could get involved in or you might want to head up something to get our town noticed on the map.
